Hen do goodie bags

If you've landed here from my socials, hello! You've probably seen the hen do bags and want to know where everything came from. I've put every link in one place so you don't have to screenshot, zoom in and play detective.

Hen do bags are one of my favourite little touches. They get everyone excited before the weekend starts, they look great in photos, and it’s a lovely little nod to our bride!

The Bag Itself

This is what holds everything together, literally. You can add a name, a date or initials, so each hen gets her own. It's sturdy enough to use on the weekend and long after, whether that's at the beach, the gym or travelling.

The Personalised Bits

These are the things that make the bag feel like it was made just for them, and they're what everyone gets excited about.

Embroidered

Toiletries Bag

A pretty, roomy make-up bag with their name stitched on it. It's useful for the weekend away and easily gets used for years afterwards.

Personalised Embroidered Cap

Great for hiding the morning-after hair, and it makes the group photos look properly coordinated. It's adjustable, so one size really does fit everyone.

Custom Silk-Style Scarf

Wear it in your hair, round your neck or tied on your bag. It's an easy way to make something really special for the weekend away.

The Fun Accessories

Chilli Claw Clip
Honestly, who doesn't need a chilli in their hair? It's daft, it's fun, and it holds everything up when you're getting ready in a hurry.

The Pamper Kit
This is the part that gets everyone through the weekend, from getting ready to the morning after.

Under Eye Patches
Best for the morning after the night before. Pop them on with a cuppa and everyone feels a bit more human.

Elemis Cleanser
A proper treat to take off the glitter and the make-up at the end of the night. It feels a lot more special than a supermarket face wash.

Skincare Saviours

  • Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Lips Healthy Glow Nectar Oil (Juicylicious Strawberry Vanilla). Glossy, juicy and smells amazing.

  • Charlotte's Magic Cream (sample size). The cult moisturiser, in a handy mini that's ideal for a weekend bag.

  • Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Sheet Masks. Perfect for a face mask and fizz session before a night out.

  • Pimple Patches. For the surprise spot that always seems to show up the week of a hen do.

  • Disposable Compressed Face Cloths. Just add water. Great for taking make-up off without ruining the hotel towels.

The Morning-After Kit

  • Dextro Energy Tablets (Orange). A quick pick-me-up when you're flagging at 2am, or 10am.

  • Travel Toothbrush with Toothpaste. Individually wrapped, so nobody has to admit they forgot theirs.

  • HISMILE Glostik Tooth Gloss. A quick swipe for a brighter smile in the photos (and after the red wine).

  • EarHub Soft Foam Earplugs. For whoever has to share a room with the snorer.

  • Elastoplast Fabric Plasters. Heels plus dancing equals blisters. Trust me on this one.

  • Nail Files. For the inevitable snag mid-night out.

A Few Tips for Putting Your Own Bags Together

  • Order personalised items early. Anything embroidered or printed can take a few weeks to arrive, especially from overseas sites.

  • Check names and spellings twice. Get the list from the bride or the guests themselves, not from memory. (Ps don’t forget the brides new surname.

  • Mix useful with fun. Things they'll use on the weekend (wipes, eye patches) sit nicely alongside things they'll keep (the tote, the toiletries bag).

  • Think about where you're going. Spa weekend? Lean into the pamper kit. Festival vibes or a beach? Caps and scarves will get a lot more use.

  • Hand them out at the start. Giving them out on arrival gets everyone into the spirit straight away, and they'll have everything they need for the whole trip.

If you are already following me, you’ll know I’m all for the personalisation, so if this gives you a little help in adding some personality, then I’ve done my job! Make sure you’re keeping up to date on socials 😘
