“Our wedding was only a success because of Georgie!! I booked her as our on the day coordinator despite our venue having an events person just a few months before our wedding. I was a pretty organised bride as I work in the industry but we had some last minute changes at the venue which were challenging and she handled it all like a pro without stressing us out. The ins and outs and logistics of the day are IMPOSSIBLE to do as a bride and to also enjoy yourself. I have no doubt some things went wrong but we had no idea about them, she was a shield the whole day and our suppliers are still raving about her!

Georgie is heaven sent and I want TO SHOUT ABOUT HOW GREAT SHE IS!!! She is organised, empathetic, authoritative and approachable. So much so my bridesmaid has booked her straight away for her wedding in a few months.”

“We booked Georgie as our wedding coordinator from Friday-Sunday in May 2023 for a DIY wedding. Prior to the weekend, she was a great help advising on things like cocktail suppliers and food timings.

In person, she made the busy set up inside a marquee and village hall seem effortless, and helped smooth over any issues on the day like power supplies not working and a fortune teller's car breaking down. She basically ran the show for my wife and I so that we could relax and enjoy every moment to the fullest.

Along the entire journey, for every question we came up with, she had the ideal answer — and was often even one step ahead of us, knowing what we were thinking. Couldn't recommend Georgie more highly, and she is a real joy to work with.”

“Georgie was absolutely incredible both in the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself. Not only is she the best wedding coordinator out there, but she is so lovely you want to hang out with her too.

You could literally tell her that the groom wasn't going to turn up and she would calmly find you a new one, sharpish. Luckily, this did not actually happen but you get my gist.

No problem is a problem with Georgie and I was trusted that any issue would get sorted. If we didn't have Georgie on the day I would have been so stressed but I just knew that she would get stuff sorted without any fuss. Our only regret was not employing her for longer during the lead up. Thank you so so so much.”

Georgie was incredible from start to finish. After chatting to her about how we wanted our day to work she completely understood the vibe and went over and above to ensure our wedding was perfect. We knew we could trust her 100% to make decisions on the day as she had taken the time to get to know us as a couple, and she knew what we would want. I came across Georgie on TikTok and I was instantly sold that we needed a wedding day of coordinator. My now husband wasn’t convinced; he didn’t understand the difference between the venue coordinator and Georgie’s role. After the wedding he couldn’t stop raving about her.

The day was flawless. Georgie seamlessly managed the timings, we didn’t feel pressured or rushed at any point, everything seemed to transition naturally. She dealt with any unexpected problems without needing to involve us. She ensured that we had the opportunity to enjoy the food and drink we had spent months planning for. She brought her expertise to TikTok trends I was keen to recreate such as a dinner dash during our entrance into the wedding breakfast. Not to mention everything I learnt from her socials that helped me in the planning process.

The best part was the energy Georgie, and our photographer, brought to the day. We were constantly laughing; I loved every minute of it and wish we could do it all over again!”

“Hiring GRE Events was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Charlotte and Georgie were absolute stars – we genuinely couldn’t have done it without them. Planning a UK wedding from New Zealand isn’t easy, but they made it feel effortless. From the moment we booked them two years ago, they were with us every step of the way – handling every supplier, every detail, every curveball – and always with patience, calm, and total professionalism.

Charlotte was a dream throughout the planning process – responsive, organised, and always one step ahead. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her calm energy kept us sane during the more stressful moments.

“Wow, I don't even know what to say to put into words how amazing Georgie and her team were. We were a bit unsure initially about having a wedding planner and decided to have a call with Georgie to learn a bit more about it. After that call, we knew immediately we should go for it. We went for the full wedding planning package, which was especially helpful as we were planning our wedding from abroad.

Georgie and Charlotte helped us every step of the way, from thinking about all the various aspects we needed to plan, helping to get to a shortlist of suppliers, coordinating with suppliers, thinking through the day plan and all the small details that make the day run smoothly. Working with Georgie meant that we could fully enjoy the wedding run up and planning process and we always had her and Charlotte there with their experience and knowledge. I can honestly say it was the best money we spent on the wedding and I would 100% recommend Georgie to everyone.

On the day, Georgie was there every step of the way, getting involved with us getting ready, helping me steady my nerves before the ceremony and sorting absolutely everything in the background so we could just relax and have an amazing time. I did not worry at all on the day as I knew she would have it all under control and she did not fail to deliver. Many of the guests commented on how awesome she was and even our venue coordinator mentioned it as well. Georgie is the perfect balance of friendly and assertive, being part of the day, bringing the vibe and also making sure things get done.

“Where to start, Georgie was literally the best co-ordinator and we would honestly recommend her to everyone! When I got engaged I started listening to the unfiltered bride podcast and knew immediately I wanted Georgie to be apart of my wedding day. Originally my husband took some convincing as he thought it was an added cost we did not need, however after our initial meeting he immediately agreed that we needed her. We both agree our day would not have been the same without Georgie there.

Georgie was on hand with all my questions and sent lots of recommendations on what suppliers to use before the wedding day. Her on the day plan was a dream to send to our other suppliers and they were all very appreciative for it.

On the day Georgie was amazing, everything was timed to perfection and to this day I still believe that everything went to plan as Georgie had control of the whole day and kept any stress or drama away from me. All of the guests loved Georgie and said how amazing she was. She literally thought of everything from our photo props to playing music to bring the vibe for our group photos. Her magic foot numbing spray was an absolute saviour, and she honestly did not stop from the start to finish.

Georgie is literally the best maid of honour you could possibly have and is always a step ahead, whatever you need help with she is there ready and waiting for her trusty kit bag.

The best advice I could give anyone is to book Georgie for your wedding!”

“Having Georgie as our wedding planner and on the day coordinator was even more invaluable than we could have ever imagined. Georgie provided so much support & gave us some amazing ideas that just made our day more perfect! Planning a wedding during the pandemic was not easy, but Georgie really did have all of the bases covered and was always able to put our minds at ease. She made sure the day ran flawlessly - and even pulled out a sewing kit to fix a fastening on my dress mid-celebrations! A woman of many talents!!

“If you book Georgie for your wedding it will be the best decision you will make!!! We booked Georgie as our planner and on the day co-ordinator for our wedding in June 2021. We had a more unusual wedding in that it was a surprise wedding and kept secret from our guests up until the night before the wedding. We knew that planning a surprise wedding during a pandemic wouldn't be the most straightforward so booked Georgie early on which I'm SO glad we did! Georgie was by far our most responsive supplier, most resourceful, creative, helpful, supportive, encouraging and FUN person we worked with. She will try to make any of your ideas work, create the day you dream of and see it through on the day to more than you thought was possible! Our wedding venue wasn't typically used for weddings but you would not have known that on the day - it all came together to complete perfection because of Georgie. We can't thank Georgie enough and will never forget the amazing contributions she made to giving us the most incredible moments and memories we will treasure forever. Thank you Georgie - we miss you already! If we could do it all over again we'd chose you EVERY time.”

On the day Georgie was incredible, as soon as she arrived I felt the weight lifted from my shoulders. From final details to organising all the suppliers arrivals, taking care of my two children organising the groom to be, meeting guests, arranging the bridesmaids and flowers girls the list is endless to be honest.

Our special day went wonderfully and a huge part of that was due to just how incredibly organised and fantastic a person Georgie is.

On the morning after the wedding around 8am i woke up with a little sadness as my special day was over but I had received a video from Georgie which was full of different moments from our special day put to the music of our first dance, this was such a thoughtful gift, I can’t stop watching it. I will treasure that video forever.

“Everyone should hire Georgie. She went above and beyond what we expected from her, whether that was finding back up suppliers, creating our amazing balloon arch the day before the wedding or making us a beautiful mini wedding video. Which she sent over at 7.30am the next day, reducing us both to tears immediately. When Georgie walked in to the bridal dressing rooms on the morning of the wedding I felt like I was going to cry…because she became so much more than a wedding supplier to us, she become a friend, a champion of us and our wedding and the reason why our wedding day was so perfect, everything went so smoothly and that is because of Georgie. We trusted her with so much and she delivered. The relationship she built with us over our (slightly longer than planned, thanks to Covid) wedding planning period was amazing and we cannot thank her enough. “What an incredible woman!

We originally hired Georgie before the pandemic took over for our wedding in May 2021. We had a fantastic first meeting to get the ball rolling and she already had every detail covered, things I never would have even thought of!

Roll on to Jan 2021 and I start having a bridle melt down, Georgie kept me calm, we discussed some options and my now husband and I decided we would be going ahead with our original date no matter what.

From there Georgie was amazing. She had every detail covered, helped us communicate between suppliers and the venue, in our opinion she went above and beyond and we can’t thank her enough.

On the day she kept up this fantastic reputation, it ran so smoothly, from reminding us that it was time for cake cutting, first dance, photos, to re-arranging furniture when the sun came out so we could enjoy the outside of the venue.

“Georgie absolutely made our wedding day! We hired Georgie to make our venue look pretty as due to postponement it wasn’t something we could do ourselves the day before anymore. I dropped off a van literally full to the brim of wedding decor and Georgie brought my decor dreams to life. I never really thought much about having a coordinator before but Georgie really proved how important it is. She lit literally like a hundred candles for us,

moved decor bits throughout the day to make the most of using it for different parts of the day, she made sure all our guests knew where to go what to do and she made the cutest little video of our day which has me in tears everytime I watch it! I could go on and on about all the things she did for us, with a huge smile on her face all day. A million Thankyou’s Georgie, everyone needs you for their wedding!”

“Georgie was just incredible from start to finish. I was very reluctant to hand over control to someone but she put me at ease from the very beginning and helped me realise that I just couldn't do everything. No matter how big or small the task was, Georgie helped find solutions and made things happen so quickly. Lucy was our lady on the day and my goodness, that woman is a ninja, she flew around without anyone really seeing her and she made everything happen. She also made sure I constantly had a full glass. Definitely worth the investment as these two ladies were just fabulous!”
